Roles & Responsibilities

  • Channel partner development – Identify leads for partnerships looking to develop white label security exchanges around the world. Seek out digital asset exchanges that wish to offer securities and negotiate partnership agreements to enable securities services for our partner network.
  • Onboarding – develop the lead generation process to security token exchanges to our platform and suite of service offerings covering but not limited to: (Exchange services, market making, digital asset custody, payment rails, KYC / AML screening, data feeds, white label services)
  • Relationship management – develop and maintain institutional relationships with financial institutions (private banks, hedge funds, brokers) that wish to run their own public or private marketplaces with full exchange hosted and operated services.
  • Liquidity partnerships – Identify relevant partnerships that enhance and bring liquidity to the exchange platform via market makers, liquidity providers brokers, digital banks, institutional trading venues spanning both crypto and traditional finance (securities) .
  • Develop and execution – of strategic plans and business initiatives that drive our core products and services.
  • Scale business development functions with recruitment of partners to scale our core businesses and services.
  • Story tell with sales kits for customer onboarding and relationship management utilising internal and external data to supported by a data driven approach.
  • Manage the customer lifecycle, sales funnel, engagement and retention.
  • Advocate and be a thought leader in the industry for security tokens.

About the Role

  • Prefer locations: Hong Kong or Malaysia
  • Remote (Pan APAC) – digital first role working across APAC time zone and beyond are also welcomed. (for the right person).
  • Manage the business development and client onboarding and launching security and cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Develop relationships with Security Token Offerings and exchanges.
  • Directly report to Chief Business Officer and will have exposure to EXCO
  • Ideal candidate should have experience working platform sales or white label services for digital platforms
  • Must have strong network to cryptocurrency exchanges around the world
  • Strong marketing sense for developing sales channels and managing client engagement
  • Knowledge of digital assets and crypto currency markets with a background coming from traditional finance, fintechs, exchanges or trading environments (e.g. crypto or digital assets)
  • Ideal candidate will have strong experience in crypto currency.
  • Identify and establish business partnerships that scale the exchange(s).
  • Understand the market trends and structure, in order to manage and draft the business strategy and business plan for crypto and digital assets business development efforts.
  • Have familiarity with Centralised and Decentralised trading venues.
  • Familiar with spot and derivative trading in crypto currencies.

Job Description

  • Identify partnerships and opportunities for white labelled exchange services for securities and crypto.
  • Drive the lead generation process and client onboarding.
  • Open new markets and discover new opportunities that leverage security tokenisation and crypto currency issuance.
  • Handle the whole project life cycle from idea generation through implementation and performance measures and KPI generation/reporting.
  • Formulate and drive the business plan.
  • Drive execution and follow up with key stakeholders to ensure progress towards the goals of business plans
  • Actively build partnerships and networks with target prospect in our ecosystem globally.
  • Undertake special/ad-hoc projects from time to time.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor or higher degree in economics, finance, business, or similar
  • At least 8 years of experience as business development or institutional sales in financial service or fintech industry.
  • Strong cryptocurrency product knowledge and strong network with banks, hedge funds or brokers will lead you success in this role.
  • Geographically cover APAC including but not limited to Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan or the like.
  • Prior experience in structure finance, token distribution, IPO and PE.
  • Good communication skill to interact with internal co-workers and external working parties.
  • Good command of spoken and written English

Fusang has offices in Hong Kong and Labuan & Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and a remote team in Vietnam. In addition to those locations, Fusang supports full remote working flexibility for senior-level at any other Asia locations on a direct contracting basis.
